Background:
Having spent 2+ decades in the trenches with a well respected FTSE 100 company, I had the luxury to learn the Information Technology trade in progressive roles covering The Americas and European cultures.
My greatest privilege was to participate in many large to mid-scale enterprise level projects with diverse cross functional teams and Tier 1 integration partners.
Many of these programs were well executed, with world class stakeholders, talented leadership and peer experts. Of course, our consistent goal was “on time, on budget”.
The reality is, a good share of our initiatives bore valuable lessons learned, that required postmortems to review what could be improved upon, next time “we” tackle a new statement of work.
One theme that reoccurred often, was the dynamics of integrating external consultants with our permanent staff. Over and over again, we evaluate ways to improve our experience focusing primarily on improved communication, better pricing with vendors and more consistent quality of resources. This became the focus of a business opportunity and the premise upon which iTechConnect was founded.
Vision:
My vision, from inception, was to take the learnings from my past experiences and deliver a trusted partner experience to the customer.
One of the complexities of many IT organizations, is the ability to utilize a hybrid model of in-house staff in combination with consulting resources and vendor assistance. At iTechConnect, we have focused 100% on bringing the added value of a trusted partner.
Trust that the service partner will deliver quality people, transparency in pricing and effort estimates, conviction that we see ourselves as an extension to the client and are engaged for the long run.
